Wishing all the Mom's a happy day!
Where was the April Newsletter?
With all the hours we put in on our move I never got around to creating an April Newsletter. Did anyone notice? I am very happy to report that as of April 24th we are residents of Salinas, CA! We had some wonderful help the last few days as I tweaked my left shoulder and wasn't able to lift. We also had a very thorough and professional moving company bring the last of our belongings. We are exhausted and, at the same time, relieved. We are looking forward to settling into our home. Quorra will finally be able to realize that this is her new home. With all the back and forth since last October she has been quite confused.

Congratulations!
"Heights" has been selected by show judge Laurie Goldstein-Warren for inclusion into the Illinois Watercolor Society 35h National Exhibition 2019. Thank you to everyone at IWS for all your hard work. A special thanks to Laurie Goldstein-Warren for accepting one of my most ignored yet favorite paintings! Since this is my third acceptance with IWS I will be receiving my Signature Membership with this society. I know my dear friend Joan Coffey would be very happy I got this one as Illinois was her home state. Miss you Joan! |

Congratulations,
Our juror, Martha Mans, has selected "Mollie" to hang in the Pikes Peak International Watermedia Exhibition. The Exhibition dates are June 4th, 2019 to July 30th, 2019. There were over 359 entries this year, and 100 were selected to the Exhibition. You should be very proud of this accomplishment. |
