Happy Holidays One and All!
Joan Coffey
Joan passed away November 18, 2018. She will be missed by all who knew her. Joan was a very special person, an accomplished artist, and a very dear friend.
She and her twin Nancy were born 12 days before me. As Joan and I got to know one another better we discovered this and I was immediately made an honorary triplet. From that point forward we celebrated our birthdays together. So many more to come and then cancer intervened. Joan fought this awful disease for almost 4 years. A battle that could easily have been lost within a year had it not been for a combination of things. A strong belief that she would beat it, the most positive outlook of anyone I have ever known, her loving husband Jerry who completely altered their lifestyle to a cancer free approach to food, a strong medical team and family. I never heard Joan complain or get down. She was, and still is, my inspiration! Missing you so much triplet Joan! |
Moving
My art has been put on hold while we prepare for our move. Our home here in Riverside will go on the market this month. So much yet to do but we have come a long way in this process. We are grateful to all those who have supported us through the years. Your ongoing friendship means a great deal to us!
