With the arrival of September I have completed all 21 California Missions!  It was a much longer process than I originally intended but no less rewarding.  I had planned to do a mission a day during May but other deadlines came upon me and I wasn't able to follow that plan.  So, what began on April 14 has come to its conclusion on August 31. 

I will now hope to find a venue to exhibit my California Mission Series.  If anyone knows of a location please drop me a line.  For the time being you can view all 21, in the order they were founded, by clicking on the Mission Watercolors tab.

It was so much fun watching the wall fill in.  Now all my chicks are hatched and soon they will fly the nest.

This painting is in the First Annual Open Juried Show  at FAA through September 10.   "To The Nines" was also juried into this exhibit.
They are open W-F 1-5 and Sat 11-3.

My acrylic on canvas painting of our French Bulldog Lilly was one of 47 pieces to be Juried into Calfornia Art Club's "Eternal Light" Exhibition.  This photo was taken at the reception on June 13, 2009 at the Historic Blinn House in Pasadena.

Riverside Community Art Association carries my blank cards. 

"Lavender Lilly" was juried into the Mini Masterpieces Exhibit in Fallbrook.  The Juror for this show was Linda Doll.

The Artists and Collectors reception will be held on September 13.  Gallery hours are Tues- Sat 10-5 and Sun 11-4.
