TOP 10

Picture
"To The Nines" made the TOP 10 in the ART category of Aaron Brother's "Show Us Your America" Contest.  Only 10 pieces of art were chosen to compete in the Final Round of this competition.  The winner will be determined by popular vote.

I want to thank everyone who has supported me  with their votes and by spreading the word to their friends and family AND with their words of encouragement and praise.  Regardless of the results I am already a winner because I have friends like YOU!

For those who don't know the story or message behind "To The Nines" I have attached the words I submitted with my entry.

"To me America is about diversity and acceptance. Pride Parades and Festivals across America celebrate the beauty and spirit of our Gay, Lesbian, Bi, Transgender brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles...

Working from a photo I took at the Palm Springs Gay Pride Parade I created this transparent watercolor. It celebrates the color of the day and the unconditional love that we receive from our four legged friends. They don't judge.  They just love.

It really is that simple."

Voting ends on October 2 and at that time Aaron Brothers will begin the process of confirming votes and the two winners will be notified around October 16.

At this writing "To The Nines' is in 4th place with 8% of the vote.  First place has 37%.

You can still cast your vote until 10/2 at vote.
