"Floating 3" received First Place from noted artist Rich Stergulz.  As if that weren't enough I also won the opportunity drawing for his demo painting!  Definitely my lucky night !!!

An Exhibit of
California Mission Watercolors

Between 1769 and 1823 the Spaniards created twenty one missions up and down the coastal regions of California.

In April I began my "watercolor journey" with the first mission, San Diego de Alcala (pictured above) and finished in August with Mission San Francisco de Solano.  I painted each mission in the order of their original dedication.  I have also included San Antonio de Pala Asistencia in this series.

In addition to the original artwork I will have cards and prints of the missions for sale.
